A whistle would be good I bought a conventional kettle with a whistle for that reason and would come out if parked up for a while, but collapsible used for random cups of tea generallyOutwell version working well here.
Mmm don't think I would risk a camp fire but induction and gas hob, it works very well. Could do with a whistle for when it boils but otherwise can't fault it.
