Mmmn Of interest to us as we have similar.
No replacement available (Lunar parts not available) so Heath Robinson.
a variety of products have been tried
1 Captain Tolley
2 Araldite
3 sikafix
4 Did try a clear waterproofing "Goo" but too sticky so got very dirty.

The vehicle went in for minor repairs and we asked the (bodywork) company to try to tidy it up !
Like most we do have a blind below it but during the day the extra light from the clearish perspex is nice.
We will have to wait until we see hat the fix is like.
Clearly "No leaks" is the most important factor.
Other solutions include "wrapping" that part of the cab-roof with white vinyl and overlapping the see through part.
I trust that "white vinyl" would
  • Seal the unit
  • let some light in
  • Look nice enough
The solution might be to remove and replace the whole "window" with a similar sized unit.
The existing unit is good apart from the crack
It is however curved both front to back and side to side !!!

So far extensive searching has not provided us with a good/near perfect solution !
A link to a Viny wrapping product would be handy !

I would still drill a very small hole where the crack stops. To stop the crack going further

There is a compound which stops cracks running, its in a very small bottle of which the name has left my brain, think it cost about 10/12 bucks but it works.

Thanks Yes I have done the drill and used some of Trev's brain fluid

I have the following multiple quotes

To wrap the rooflite in a gloss white wrap material it would cost £150 + VAT or in Clear Paint Protection Film it would cost £225.00 + VAT To wrap the top section of the roof in a gloss white wrap material it would cost £250 + VAT or in Clear Paint Protection Film it would cost £375.00 + VAT please note prices are subject to material used, final coverage and inspection of area to wrapped

Just a matter of checking directly with them

My inclination it the clear paint protection film (rooflite only @ £225

Thanks
I made extensive enquiries at the time. (May 2019)
They all drew a blank.
Indeed a "Blankety Blank"
So a Good Heath Robinson...my best option.
I believe the repair is secure.
Just after a cosmetic fix and futureproof.

Just be grateful you haven’t got a Tesla! A guy near us has one. His glass roof developed a crack and it was going to cost thousands, and had to be done by them. It’s part of the integral structure of the car apparently. The new one had to be sent from the US, it took weeks.
