Ok so I am making it for tea and I know the basic recipe and ingredients of smoked cod/haddock, onions, potatoes, butter, and milk, cream or both but to the Scots out there are there any secret ingredients that you or your family put in to give it just that bit extra flavour, I know there must be because everytime I eat it in Scottish pubs it never tastes the same so come on give up your secrets.??
