I've been into my contacts list and deleted a lot of old and unwanted contacts, this includes email addresses, but there are a few that pop up when emailing from the phone which are not in the contacts list on the phone or in Chrome on the PC so where are they stored so I can get rid of them?

contacts in gmail or other mail app? (different to Chrome). could be addresses from old emails even that aren't saved as contacts maybe?

I've gone through every contacts list I have and these names are not in there, I only see them if I use a letter which is in their name then it pops up as an option to send to them.

Say, I want to send an email to myself which I do often with a URL to use later but as soon as I put K in, these others pop up, I have on occasion tapped someone else email if I wasn't paying attention.

I have the opposite problem! All of my Outlook contacts synchronised with the Android Contacts app disappeared from the latter and I can find no way of getting them back.

I think you need to clear the gmail cache 🤔

Sorry I think that was for Windows?

Beware clearing cache can lose your password sites etc. and so you may have to log into them again 🤔

If you still have them on your phone you can just sync them again supposedly, goolge and Youtube the question

You should be using a safe web master, try brave or waterfox.
Just look how many trackers are trying to catch me, no mission.brave.png

I've spent a couple of hours today, deleting cookies etc but I still have these damned things popping up when I try to share on the phone.

I'd do a screenshot but it's other peoples data.

They don't have to be in your contacts list. Your mobile phone will suggest a name if you still have an email from or to that name. Make sure you have deleted all emails for that contact.

Hmm, sort of makes sense I'll look into that.

Nope, that didn't work either, I'd do a factory reset but that's a PITA too.

I'll have to give up, I have nowhere else to look for the answer, it only happens on my phone, the names don't appear anywhere else.
