Broke a filling on Saturday morning at Puerto Lumbreras, just as we were preparing to move on to Antequera. Arrived at Antequera late Saturday afternoon, so couldn't do anything until this morning when I wandered up to the Dental Clinic, armed with my medication, including a warning for the Dentist that I am taking Apixaban Blood Thinners ...
15 minutes of paperwork before I was offered an emergency appointment for 1630 this afternoon. Wanderedcback up to town and was seen without more than a a minute delay whilst the Receptionist swapped the appointment so that Daniel, who speaks English, could carry out my treatment. 40€ for an instant x-ray that showed the old 3 layer build up had fractured (basically had fallen apart in instalments). Old filling excavated and the remnants scraped back to sound foundations and a complete rebuild of the 3 layers in cosmetic white for a further 90€ - 130€ in total. All done and dusted, Wallet emptied and LV Travel Insurance Policy checked to find that dental work is not covered and no GHIC not usable. The 130€ expenditure will help with the dieting, I suppose ... :ROFLMAO:

Had medical treatment in Spain (and France) and was super impressed. Good to hear dental treatment is good . Mate had some work done and reckoned they were very liberal with drugs .
Where are you parked up in Antequera ?

We're at the side of the stadium, not on the designated Aire. Better solar and less claustrophobic ... There are 5 other M/homes doing the same, despite there being enough main Aire spaces now (Main Aire was rammed until late Sunday afternoon)

Money well spent..
They do it sooooo much better.
Money talks.
I had a massive molar cavity exposed, during a routine check, last week in Portugal.

No fuss. All the top tackle and skills.
Cost .... 50 €.
