the dates are not there for newcastle to amsterdam yet thats the way we have been a few times much better drive to spain than heading south via M6 and M25

S4x4c could not get into 2021 booking and I had just received there crossing from new haven to dieppe a few mins after his post ,I then asked if he had any luck getting into the crossings

Ah! That explains it.
I wasn’t being nosey, well alright, a bit. Intrigued by the reference to cheap Newhaven - Dieppe fares. January to March.

Certainly on the Newcastle to Amsterdam Route we had the same problem last year. We were trying to book through the C&CC and even they struggled to get a booking because DFDS hadn't released the dates. I think it was September 2019 before we got the booking for January on that route.

newhaven dieppe had a 20% discount for over 60s only available by phone whether it’s still the case post covid i don’t know
