Different Bike Rack

I don’t have one, I have a standard Fiamma Bike Rack Pro but I need to modify it somehow to fit a normal ebike and a hand cycle so am after some ideas. Original thought was to just make a platform that fits on top of the standard rails but I am open to some lateral thinking on this.

So far I have only carried the hand cycle strapped to the rack but while it travels okay it is not ideal as it is a 2 man job to get it loaded and I think it may have to sit in a more conventional position on all 3 wheels but this will make it between 1 and 2 metres extra length.

I don’t have access to the roof and it won’t go through the hab door (although the bike would). Anyone (Rae?) got any unconventional ideas before I try a platform?

So far this type of thing looks the best way, by standing on end it keeps the protrusion shorter as the headstock folds down but width is fixed. The solution here is for a tow bar where I would adapt to bike rack so not ideal but may be an option.
