I passing this on from our Vet in our village, Had a drink with the vet in the bar today and he told me that this week he has had four dogs in the surgery with snake bites so if your bring your dog over take care where you walk so far none of the bites have been poison, His advice if you dog dose get a bite Clean round the bite marks with antiseptic liquid and if you cant get to a vet buy some antiseptic tablets. These bites are nearly always on the lower legs . after a few days the wound should be clean if not find and take him to a vet remember if you have pet insurance ask first if they excerpt it , Safe Travels

Where would we get antiseptic tablets for a dog please?

From a vet or some places will sale you them with out a prescription best is ask your vet there just to be on the safe side
