Door stay

Got this idea from a forum .Putting it out there as a suggestion.Drill small hole and use a allen key to secure door closing in wind.Works great.

Keeping the door open in high winds is always a problem and it's nice to see a solution, unfortunately this idea won't work on my door and I will still have to rely on the bungy cord but may be someone out there has a different idea to share.

I've always bungeed mine in high winds too Lee. The allen key idea is great but the fixed bit of my door stay is much smaller than the one in the picture and way too high up. I bought a replacement door stay when we were all in Germany... the same type as I've always had but it's soooo strong I have to really tug hard to get it to release the door. German efficiency eh?

Great idea. My door stay is somewhat different, so this wouldn't work for me, but I'm sure that I can adapt the concept. Thanks very much for posting it.
