Snowbirds that is Jeff Lorraine jan & myself crossed into Spain yesterday afternoon first stop 59 mls from Irun just before Vitoria gastiez , took the dog for a walk this morning in an hour we covered a fraction of the perimeter great walking bike riding swimming area , backing on to a huge reservoir, solar putting 32amps of free power into the battery,

Another nice stop off on your way down is Olite. Only about a mile off the motorway free aire in a superb old medieval town, with cheap fuel and supermarkets near by

have been olite before but for this trip we are staying up north from here we’re going burgos, ampudia, braganca vila real & porto then heading back &7 weeks to do it in ?

got up to a glorious if somewhat misty morning on the aire to find a couple of these on the car park no idea what !? the first is a lobster lookalike but only 2-3” rears up when approached and also what looks like a large grass snake

The aire at tarjadoz decent stopover town quite nice but next to the service point is a weighbridge little machine next to it for 50cents gives receipt &weight ticket
