Edit button not working?

I have just tried to edit a post of mine and the edit button does not seem to be working (for me anyway).

Thought there was a time window that you could edit posts for ?

I tried an edit just after my post and it did not work. It is working now when I tried it again.

The problem now is that at my age I cannot remember what I wanted to edit.

I'm sure you can only edit posts for so long ....

I've just checked and .my latest posts I can edit

Older ones I can't edit

My mobile device occasionally finds it impossible to edit my own posts.

A while ago I dropped my phone, cracked the screen, and I assumed it was an issue of my own making. My solution was to leave the forum, re-enter, and can then edit again.

Reading your post I wonder whether whether it was my fault after all, so thank you for your post.
