since we picked joy zig zag up in france two months ago we have covered a couple of thousand miles down the spanish med coast and along the algarve , we have had some really good times and some wonderful weather , but today she set of back home from Monsaraz & in her words we saved the best till last , we are parked on a mid terrace under the fortified town looking out over the reservoir in the foreground of the morning view through my screen you will see a spot of land with 8 campers wilding lovely,

we did indeed there is one area where there are four stubs sticking out the wall about 18” they are 6” wide but about 2ft apart i went the long way round lol
 
Lovely spot. Stayed 2 nights. Only disappointment was none of the restaurants would let us inside for lunch with a dog. Too cold to sit out, so back to the van for soup!
Did you go to the museum at Luz about the village being recreated when the flooded the valley? Very moving.
