FIAMMA awning

Hi. My FIAMMA awning winds out about 10 inches and then stops. I’m very reluctant to force it any further so I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what to do?

Without seeing it, we would struggle to help.

Get the stepladder out and have a closer look, maybe gently push/pull on it to see if anything is obvious, take a picture or two and post it here.

I will do that when I get home. On holidays until 2nd week in May.
