... was shortlived :(

Decided to take the camper out to go shopping (handy to have the fridge for any frozen stuff). But less than 3 miles from home had to turn round and head back home!

Restless natives shouting at a "holiday maker" and throwing stones?
Square tyres after been unused for ages?

Nah. Suddenly realised I had forgotten to take the van off SORN :ROFLMAO:
Back home, on-line and got tax sorted and trip restarted :p

There were a few comments in the news and on the forum about locals (to whatever area) having a go at anyone in a campervan or motorhome seen daring to be in 'their' area bringing in the coronavirus and killing them with their disease-ridden bodies as they passed by.

Never gave it a thought. Had no problems travelling home from the showroom on Thursday.

Just drove 26 miles to drop mine off at the dealer. What a pleasure, fingers, toes and everything else crossed that we can all venture out next month.
Unfortunately i cannot see wee Nicola allowing me into Scotland next month as she is advising the extremely vulnerable to stay housebound until the end of July ☹️☹️☹️☹️

I have no other vehicle so my motorhome and I have been going shopping every week throughout the lockdown. I have not seen or had any problems to speak of.

I have been seeing Campervan sand conversions around here on the roads all through the lockdown. Earlier on it was probably just where it was their main vehicle (2 I know for sure) but lately it’s folks out for a jolly. Only seen an odd motorhome or two though.

Not been any problem with natives that I know of, we still have some narrow minded hypocrites but that’s probably the inbreeding. In general folks don’t seem bothered.
I was shocked at the amount of folks (car family’s) gathered at the cafe at Millers Dale station on the trail yesterday though. I don’t even shop now so any for than a handful of folks seems a huge crowd lol
