I always thought saving pitches in aires was a 'no no'....Is there any text to go with the reason for this picture?
So are double negatives ...I always thought saving pitches in aires was a 'no no'....
That space is much to wide for any self respecting French man, perhaps it's being save for 2 vans!!French..
It could be for the French Husband & Wife team of the remorseful village milkman and cockney born missus; Des au Lait and Cafe au Lait ...T

It is, however if someone were on an aire and needed to drive to it's services I cannot see anything wrong with saving their space for the few minutes that would take, different matter if they were going shopping or out for the day though.I always thought saving pitches in aires was a 'no no'....
In that case someone arriving to find that the "reserved" space was the only one available could enquire of others on the aire if the occupants had been out for a fairly long time, couple go hours or so, and if that was the case move the items out of the way and occupy the space. I have done that myself in the south of France and been prepared to argue the point should it be necessary. It wasn't, the people turned up some time later, packed away their table and chairs and drove off. They left the aire for some time !!!
