Old van didn't have an oven, sometimes wish it did, but Larry does!

What should our first oven meal be?

No more than 30mins cooking, prep we can do at home. And should include meat lol

Baked Potatoes mmmmmh bit of the mark no meat and takes longer than 30 minutes, however i do cheat and microwave some before we go so they are already cooked

30 mins should do you a nice toad in the hole , very little prep and not too unhealthy if it’s based upon quality sausages. Alternatively finish off cooking something you part made made at home shepherds/cottage pie perhaps. We have used roasting bags for chicken successfully, takes a bit more than 30 mins but helps if you cut the chicken into two halves first. As Linda said cooking in the bag reduces washing up and keeps the oven clean. Bon appetite!

We often cook double quantities of chilli, bolognaise, etc and freeze 1 for in the van.

Having just got to the UK I've found the Tesco £6 bag o' Indian take away style 'heat at home' meal really nice. I can get 3 meals from it. Get a bit more naan, maybe some salad.
