We stayed in the town last year for the games, great atmosphere, had dinner in the hotel in the video and spent money in the shops.

I think I have some video & pictures of the Tomintoul games which were quite good for a small town.

bagpipes, huh?

Well that is one video I will NEVER be playing :)

I ask a piper was anything worn under the kilt, he replyed not so far. 😂
One of our antics at the TT was if the girls asked what tartan the kilt was I'd explain how to identify different tartans. First you look at the marking on the kilt taking note of the different colours note how the pleats are formed and if it was made properly the pattern forms evenly through the pleats, next the weight of the kilt feel through your fingers by this time they are looking closely, I would then whip the kilt into the air shouting if there's meat and two veg it's a MacDonalds. 😂

If you like a pipe band, you'd probably see some in the various Civic Weeks in the Borders towns this summer? see https://rove.me/to/scotland/common-ridings-on-the-scottish-borders

The Motorhomer Meet in Kelso this July is taking part during some of the Kelso event
