Fridge won't light

We have an Electrolux RM 4230 3 way fridge which has given up the ghost on gas. I have cleaned the jet out and blown the rubbish out but I cannot see a spark through the viewing window. Is there a way to test the piezo strioker out of its location? Please.

Chris , check that the piezo has a good earth / ground connection , otherwise the spark will be very weak

if you get someone to hold the knob in you could try lighting the gas with a match . seeing it work might be helpful

How old is the vehicle ?
Ours is 2006s
in 2018 we had 2 fridge/gas problems
No 1 burnt out burner so we replaced it
No 2 Gas control valve stuck closed so no gas (valve linked to a thermostat with sensor in the burner)
This is not the gas regulator but a valve within the fridge workings which should open when you switch to gas and remain open provided the burner works and indeed ther thermostat

You suggest it is the ignition device which is the problem.
I do not doubt your diagnosis but add other things that will result in fridge not working on gas
