From 1st January 2023 gatherings will be posted on Wild Camping and rallies will be posted on Motorhomer.

This change means members will know what to expect when booking a rally or a gathering.

would it be worth just adding a quick bullet point list on this thread of the key differences? (or a link to where they can be found) for new members (or old members with memories like a sieve?

  • Gatherings are a group of Full members agreeing to meet at a location.
  • Gatherings arranged in the gatherings section are only for Full Members.
  • There will be no Stewards at Gatherings.
  • There is no insurance at Gatherings.
  • Members attend at their own risk.
  • The member arranging the Gathering is not liable for other members or the venue of the Gathering.
  • The number of members that can attend must be stated in the initial post.
  • You must put your name down on the list to attend the Gathering so that too many people do not turn up.
  • Motorhomer Ltd accepts no liability for Gatherings.
 
Ok good move but there is no section/forum as far as I can see. Surely needed if this change is to work ?
