I like the old steam factory or machine stuff, it's how the world was built.

I worked on belt driven Machine Tools as a young apprentice. The belts were driven by a DC motor, not steam. And most of the tools were older than the ones shown on the video.

When I started as an apprentice mechanic we used a local engineering company for various things we needed machining, there were belts everywhere in their machine shop driven by a diesel stationary engine in the yard at the back of the workshop.
