Hope it’s better for you folks than Charlie, he reckons n 11kg bottle only lasts him 3days in winter with heating on

he does need a megawatt heater.

We live in a small 2up 2down stone cottage and when I was thinking about a solid fuel burner they told me 4kw would heat the whole house and more than that would make it unbearably hot in the living room. No wonder then that 4kw heaters in vans is very good, I expect the smaller output from the electric side is sufficient though just doesn’t seem as good as gas side it oversized for the area it has to heat.

A £3 usb heatpad. I warm myself rather than the van - much more efficient!
