If its a chassis battery meter then I would expect it to be switched so its only live with ign on , either manual switch or relay , other wise voltmeters usually will drain battery if on permanent .
It’s on a single throw switch and a timer which shows the battery voltages and tank levels for about thirty seconds. Strangely I have a similar problem with my Hobby 750 but on the habitation battery meter. Choose to ignore it for the time being because I monitor the voltage with a plug in USB adapter with voltage display. I do have a circuit diagram somewhere. I’ll have a butchers.
