After the puncture in Zaragoza, the slashing of the Bike Cover at Moncofa and the dental problem at Antequera, I hoped that we had finished with the problems ...

But yesterday, a worsening problem with the bathroom sink tap not delivering water came to a dead halt. I had bled the tap a couple of times in the hope that it was just a stubborn airlock, but to no avail. The cold water tap will only deliver water if either the shower tap is opened (it will reach to fill the sink, so all is not lost!), OR the kitchen tap is opened. It looks like the micro switch on the bathroom tap is rubbed, so I'll get it replaced when we're back home. I would have dropped by Tambo Autocaravanas at Benicarlo to have the replacement fitted, but he now seems to need people to come back the following day, and the closure of the aire at Benicarlo makes this impractical. Hey ho

My mate is staying on Area La Brisa which is 11 minutes drive from Tambo Autocaravanas at Benicarlo and he said it's okay for €12.00 a night if that's any good for you?

We stayed at La Brisa 2 years ago, when it was 9€ per night. It is possible to do the run back and forth, but there is no guarantee that the pitch will still be available; it would be worth it if we could get a definite appointment with Ramon (Tambo), but booking on the off chance is too risky. We can manage by one of us opening the kitchen tap to power up the bathroom tap until we get back to Scotland and book in at Logan Vehicle Services

Might I be so bold as to suggest leaving it alone and just using the kitchen tap Steve, unless you need the privacy, we've been lucky enough to never have had a switched tap.

Of course, Kev. We've just had showers this morning, and the shower head works fine. We will manage playing around with the taps to the correct sequence; as for privacy? The shower cubicle is small enough to warrant soaping the walls and rotating slowly to get clean, so it's much easier to wander back into the hab area to dry and dress in comfort ...
As you know, M/homing is a compromise and that necessitates adaptation to find a way that works for the couple/individual

... It looks like the micro switch on the bathroom tap is rubbed,

I fitted a small toggle switch that turns the water pump on. I did it when the wires to a tap microswitch broke, but left it after I fixed the tap. Comes in handy occasionally. Easy to fit: just join together the two wires to any tap.
