There's been a fair old few, and the 'slebs seem to die in batches [e.g. Pele & Vivienne Westwood yeaterday and John Bird the previous day, IIRC]

I watched a Talking Pictures programme on Derek Fowlds yesterday [another gonner], followed by a 'Celebration of Ken Dodd' on BBC4 [including the 'Pencil Sharpener' Cat joke ...], and Mr Derek said,as he showed the pictures and posters of the actors with whom he had worked to the camera,, 'Of course, at my age, there's bound to be more and more of the people I worked with who are no longer with us ...' A rather poignant, and wistful comment ...
