Our 2017 bessacarr 454 lounge was fine pre grandkids as we loved the open layout.
Now with 8 gk we think we need the extra belted seats
Option 1. Recently looked at down sizing to a PVC with 4 belted seats but a new ish one, Ā£30k with ours as trade in.,
Option 2. Anyone got practical experience of the fold away belted seats šŸ¤”
Option 3 How viable would it be to have the standard belted seat unit fitted. I appreciate some difference in flooring and trim may have to be catered for.šŸ¤”

Anyone out there with a pvc need to change to a coach built MH

All ideas gratefully received .

We were in this position with our first Autoquest and trades it for a 4 belt 4 berth Autotrail. Trade in cost far higher in retrospect than doing an internal remodel. Over the years and use of the van with the grandkids we worked out we would have been better advised to keep the one we had and being the car along when we took them. In fact it'd have been cheaper to book them into the Ritz!
It's easy to get sucked into a vortex of expense....

We had a small two seat belted unit fitted as part of the conversion (so it probably wouldn't be as expensive as a retrofit?) Did all the extra plating etc so legal. But it has been used less than we had thought, and mainly as a third seat for mum and mum in law. In hindsight the folded seats probably would have served us better, as mostly used as two seater van.
Hindsight being a wonderful thing....I guess you have identified a need having been without the extra seating, whereas we were anticipating our need.
