I’ve done the WC poi download easily, and have done so every year prior to travel.
What I want to do is add Camper Contact POIs and icons to my Garmin 760.
The downloads from CC were easy enough and I’ve kept them in a secure file away from the downloads on the PC. So I have 2 files of csv containing the various site details along with the 2 different sizes of bmp CC pictures. Europe and Scandiwegia.
I used the Garmin POI downloader and added them to the 760 memory easily enough, it was a very quick install, click, done.
However, when I did a couple of checks looking for a random site by city name, I can easily find several options, but when I zoom in they don’t show a CC icon, only a small square spot. This happened to me a couple of years ago but I wasn’t able to get around to sorting it before we left. That meant that I needed to take extra care and attention when looking for somewhere close to where we were by looking for the little square.
The WC icons are always easy to see, I’d like to know what I’ve done wrong and how to add the CC icons to the screen.
