I just love the sound this makes

I'm a fan of 1930s AutoUnion too, since the first MAP Model Cars magazine included information about the C-Type.

I was at Goodwood for the July 2008 Festival of Speed and again at the September 2012 Revival.

Here's a photo I took of the Rosemeyer Memorial in June 2008, just off the Darmstadt Autobahn:
