If you could own any car, what would it be?

Aston Martin V8 Vantage......or a plus 8 Morgan.....or a v10 Audi Rs6 estate .....or......oh that’s more than 1, thank goodness I,ll never have that predicament ?

oh, i forgot.......how could i forget this.....ZEPHER 6.......oh yes.......i would love to have another one...thought i was the bees knees driving it..........
Ah yes Trixie my mate had one and we went all over in it, he sold it when petrol went from 32 to 50p a litre though. My old man had some cars that would be good to have now and 3 stand out in my mind still so must have been something special at the time for me to remember them. A gorgeous two tone pale blue and white Zepher Zodiac, a Vauxhall Cresta the one with the curved screen and body and a Jaguar XK120, the bonnet seemed to be huge but I was only little then. I am remembering a few mote as I am typing, must be his fault I became a petrol head ha ha

I’d have a Tesla for the silence or a Mercedes AMG C63 for the sound. I’d never be able to afford either but one of the best cars I ever owned was a Citroen CX GTi Turbo. If they still made these, I buy another in an instant.

A couple of years ago at a car show I was offered such a car for free at a car show, a friend of mine took it and recomissioned it as it had stood for several years. It turned out to be a very solid car, he sold it recently. Certainly they are surprisingly fast.

Money no object to buying & running it.

I'd have a Bristol Beaufighter or a Jenson interceptor.

As an everyday runabout I'd like an as new, 300 series Disco tricked out for the rough & tumble of daily life.

I've driven a few sports cars, but for me the handling is wasted on the public road & I can't see far enough ahead to be able to use the power/handling that they offer, I find driving to be very boring when you can't see over the hedges so my favourite vehicles have high seating, like my VW Sharan, it doesn't go fast but it's more fun to drive because The journey is more involving than being in a virtual tunnel!
