Well we have been here for 3days and its very quiet..
Found a great little cl £8 pounds a night. just not worth trying to find wc spots.
Ferry was cheap at £60 '. For 7.5 mtr and hydra tail.
For those looking for safe place to go for few days or weeks .get on the ferry .
And weathers not so bad .bit windy

Thank you for info much appreciated.
And we will wave .😂😂😂

Plenty of action to watch from Egypt esplanade Gurnard/Cowes or E ryde as well.
Enjoy the shipping even without the cruise ships although they’re parked up on south coast still I expect!!!

I now no why people say the coast of the new forest area has a micro climate.
Every bit of wind rain hits the isle of wight first .the vans a rocking..

Our son lives there and finds it tropical!!!
We get told off mind as always rains when we’re there.
Think you caught a bad spell

On the Isle of Wight ferries, do the dogs have to stay in the vehicles during the crossing, or if not, can you remain in your vehicle with your dogs during the crossing?

Was that return? And, I thought wild camping was a definite 'no-no' on the island! Presume you are a member of one of those camping organisations?

One way ..

Read post. Cl £8 pounds a night ..
There are a few people wild camping..around and about..

It looks great... I only visited IOW once to do a job in the Westland works for a week and never saw daylight never mind the delights of the Island. Perhaps we should return when this virus is defeated.
Is the chain ferry still operating at Cowes?
K ;)

Dont wait .the locals are very welcoming .and its a low risk area and everyone we see is wearing m asks and very good at social distancing.
And the camp sites are empty.
We have a camp site to our selfs ..
