Jackery to the rescue!!

For the first time for at least two decades, we suffered a power outage for approximately three hours yesterday, HV issue due to yesterday high winds. Broke out the Jackery, kept the router going, so we had internet and tv, laptop etc, use.

These power banks, irrelevant of brand name, is a handy piece of kit for home and Motor Home use.
Our system runs off a UPS in any case. Easy, cheap and automatic.

With Octopus paying us a small amount for reducing our electricity usage at certain times of the day I simply switch the supply off at the mains so use nothing for that time period. I use a Ctechi ST2000 power bank to run the Wi-Fi, Laptop, table lights, TV and fridge. Being rural it also useful when we have the occasional power cuts. A brilliant bit of kit with lots of features like UPS and very fast charging. I purchased it from the Indiegogo website before it went mainstream.
