Any wild camping here at this time of year.
we went to acsi site in Denia last year.
aires seem to be in calpe and no camper contact either.

We stayed here for 1 night last year where motorhomes were allowed to park, as opposed to camp:

near Calle Rennes 03738 Platja de l'Arenal,

It's very near the sea and lots of bars and restaurants. Restaurant Scallops just across the main road is reputedly good value. However there were a lot of building works going on nearby which may have stopped the street parking.

In February we stopped opposite Lidl for a few days, looking to do the same again next month.
Bd.

We always used to stop near Scallops http://www.scallopsofjavea.com/ found there meals really good value for money. There was a car park just opposite we stopped at, the local police came around so we asked & were told no problem. Met some friends a few weeks later wildcamping near Calpe & they said they got moved on by the police when they stopped in the same car park but apparently there was a Spanish caper there arguing with the police over something so everybody got moved on. In Spain it seems to be down to luck of the draw at some places.

We are hoping to get down to Spain towards the end of Feb for about 6 weeks, it is over 4 years since we have been down there so it will be like starting over again wildcamping again. A few of our regular stopping places we relied on have either gone or are now paid camper stops, one I noticed was Tavernes de la Valldigna, would use it after a long drive from Zaragosa or before heading home but see now that its a paid official camper stop. So wondering if there are many good free or cheap wildcamping spots.

Just seen this. Currently parked up off the road on the gravelly parking all along the sea, just out of town.

This is a website I've used in the past for showing some of the stopping places in Spain

Interesting thread - we'll probably be hitting Javea this year!

I wasn't intending going but it looked more interesting than I'd thought, as I was driving out ?

It's a lovely place, we've visited last year (with friends). We had christmas dinner in the Austrian restaurant!
