arrived at the aire at simat having a picnic lunch in the orange groves in the afternoon we went around the monastery this time the body of the church was open as well as the portico then a beer at a pavement cafe sitting in the sun heavenly, in previous visits had not noticed the painted glass in the windows of the portico ,

Simat came up on my Facebook today we were there 2 years ago.
I was thinking how lovely it was.
Now I'm jealous and wishing we could be there with you.

I sat at that cafe while lee went for a walk. It looks lovely - only another 2 weeks
 
out til we go to the netherlands meet mid april at alicante at the moment up to 18deg might sit a while , on the beach at san polar we got two front row berths bet those bloody waves will keep me awake all night,

Sounds like you're having it tough out there, my heart bleeds for you.
Make sure you keep up with the sun cream and if it gets to hot find a bar with shade.
As for the waves you can always close the window.
