Kitchen extractor vented roof light

Anyone else have one orf these that is very hard to fully close.
Seems very highly tensioned that makes me worry about damaging plastic screen trying to fully close?

Can't be sure but looks like a Omnivent one, can you get a look at it from outside as it looks as far closed as mine was, although it is difficult to tell, if the top is parallel to the van roof it's probably fully closed Mike.

No the black out roller screen inside is what is very stiff to pull across!

Ah I see in that case I would remove the knob, and take down the bezel and see what is causing the problem, has it always been like this, or has it been allowed to fly back, they are a very fragile bit of kit so need care in use.
