Light turning off

Hello I have a problem, when I turn the waterpump on the lights turn off. They come back on when I turn the waterpump off. the water pump does not work when I turn it on.

No fuses blown
Water pump works with independant power supply.

Any ideas welcome

was all working fine, i have done nothing it just start to do the above.

sounds like it could be a low battery?
also maybe a circuit fault going to the pumo causing the voltage to drop and having the same effect.
I would put a meter on the connections where the pump would connect and watch what happens when the switch is tuned on,
