I started with ubuntu then mint and now for years using lite, we bit of setting up once installed, any updates arive with a star on bottom bar, easy just click and put in password and it sorts out everything in about 1/2 mins, then asks do you want to see the code, click no, sometimes it will ask to do a reboot or defare to next bootup.
Any extra programes are in both lites repository or in the main linux one, things like other web engines etc, hence i have 4, one i use for camping sites, other for ukraine war, one for music and one called min for general surfing, more and more folk are now using linux, or should i say the savvy people, other stick with windows and BEAR it.
