just a few notes primarily for those who are booked on this yes jeff you & pat lol, firstly the cabins have both euro & brit plugs but no kettle etc for coffee & tea and also gasp shock horror no hair dryer, a cooked breakfast is €10 main course in azul restaurant about €20 we had a bottle of rioja rose €21 nice , just for jeff they have a music quiz in the afternoon but dog owners go to the veh at 0625 😱. the option of commodore cabin is £83 which is not bad over two nights but it was gone 1030 by the time we loaded with no meal option at that time ,, we stopped at a cracking little pub at the village of southwick about 10 miles north of portsmouth i had a lovely moroccan spiced pie which was basically a lamb shank coated in mild spice wrapped in puff pastry a la beef wellington absolutely gorgeous, there is also the churchillian a pub we have stayed at before with a large car park overlooking the portsmouth bay with a large car park opposite complete with burger bar . any thing else you want to know let me know , maeve hasn’t enjoyed the experience she has settled in the cabin but not had a piddle or poo yet out on the promenade deck or eaten at all though she has eaten treats in the cabin with us but not outside

Roxy will prob be the same as Maeve, so I will make sure she has a bit of a walk before we board, breakfast sounds ok, as for the rest of the food we will cross that bridge towards the time, we are leaving 2 weeks on Sunday, so got a couple of nights before we board the ship. The main prob at present is we have no van, it is still at the suppliers waiting for a part to arrive fingers crossed it will be ready tomorrow, then we can start loading it slowly over the next couple of weeks, ready for the trip to the sun. Have a safe trip Ken, and thanks for the heads up (y)

We had the commodore option last year £85 each- definitely wouldn’t do it again! Not good value! We stayed at Port Solent- free parking- just ring and give your reg. Great Wetherspoon there overlooking the marina. Hope Maeve settles. Have a good journey and we’ll soon be catching you up

We didn't bother with the Commodore Lounge last week; previous trip '£170 for 4 cooked breakfasts' comment from neighbouring couple sums it up!

We bought the Large Food Voucher at £50 that gets a 15% enhancement to £57.50 and a 10% discount via our Club Membership, and that was sufficient for Friday evening meal in Azul restaurant, and breakfast on Saturday morning. Took a low wattage kettle on board with a small container of coffee, plus a goodies bag for snacks (didn't need 1/2 of them!), but a litre of fruit juice was handy.

Took USB chargers and continental to UK adapter for kettle and all set to go!

We bookwed the a club cabin back in July when the cheaper fares came out. It was cheaper than buying club lounge passes as extra. Unfortunately the van broke down at the port so we missed our ferry, short version. We are now sailing tonight ☝️ which is leaving early dure to bad weather, I think they are trying toget in front of it as the forecast the bay isn't that bad. We now only have an inside cabin and no club lounge which we had found to be excellent last time. We will be taking a bottle of wine, kettle and tea onboard with us and some snacks but planning to eat in the restaurant. We are sailing on the Santona to Santander instead of the Salamanca to Bilbao whichKen was on

That’s strange - we have a hair dryer!
