I’ve always found the guy here very obliging 😀😀

Whilst this should not (still) be the issue, there was a period of a few years when the quality of LPG hose was suspect, and degraded the internal hose causing blockages of the hose and or regulator too.

I understand some garages are removing LPG pumps, Shell for sure, usually by taking them out of service as their vessel certification goes out of date, (10years) the cost of recertifiying being a hefty sum. For some years in the 90`s I carried out a lot of work for Calor, and the time and work involved with examination, including gas freeing relief valve testing/refurbishment is expensive and needs to be recouped out of profits.

P.s.. For anyone in the Newark area, Brownhill`s did have an LPG filling facility, at least up to 2019?.

Pete
