May the fourth be with you

There was a radio 4 link to a forthcoming Radio 3 programme.. A morning of music from Star Wars..
" May the 4th be with you."...
Very droll!

Over recent years there has been a May the 4th festival held at Malin head which is the most northerly point on the island of Ireland (although it is in the south if you live in Northern Ireland!). Some scenes for one of the films were shot there.

Still has the sign Eire made from stones to let WW2 pilots know where they were overflying. You can just make out the number 80 above the sign which I guess fixed their position for them.

We planned to overnight there..
Silly idea as it was only August.
The moment we climbed to the top, a Hooley screamed in.
We fought our way back, like Marcel Marceau.
Luckily there was a great pub, a couple of miles south.
Great night of music & craic.
Guinness was only 5€ a point.6 years ago.
Slept in the leeside of the carpark.
