We would like to wish everybody a safe and stress free Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
It’s going to be a quiet one for us this year, not only have our children fled the nest, but our grandchildren are moving into their own properties as well, so we are getting further and further spread apart.

Wishing you and your good lady a happy Xmas Rodger, my son and his wife and our two grandchildren have decided they are moving back into our house on the 27th December, so it won't be a quiet one for us.

They are starting a full renovation in January on a new property they have recently bought, they asked if they could live in ours while we escape to Spain for 90.days on the 5thJanuary, which we agreed to, but now they want to.move in before we escape,

I said fine in that case we will go to the meet at Hollingsworth lake, but we have been instructed that they need us here looking after the grandchildren whilst they get started earlier on the property getting it prepared for the builders starting on 2nd January. So I think it will be a noisy one for us.

I hope you aren't too lonely at Christmas.
We're in a similar situation but we'll be having early Christmas drinks in the morning, then Steak for lunch, it's much easier to prepare and then in the evening we're off to another friend for their Christmas quiz evening.
Hopefully you two can have a lovely day and rest up for New year at Hollingworth, where it won't be restful, not if Jeff has anything to do with it.
