Mop/Brush for cleaning MoHo

When cleaning the MoHo roof I've always 'made do' with an existing (domestic) mop for reach while stood on a ladder. Not ideal as its straight handled single non-adjustable angle head. But does the job. However, it is a bit of a pain, and I'm aware there have to be better solutions: long handled, variable angle head products for example.

As it happens, they are now phasing out replacement mop heads for the mop we have, which gives me an excuse/reason/push to find a much better solution.

Interested in any products that people might recommend to do the job. (I'm working on the basis that what is good for the roof will also be good for the rest of the vehicle).

I bought something similar from a motorhome dealer shop. It was not cheap but that was about 18 years ago and I still use it (only on the car these days unfortunately). I cleaned the roof from a ladder, it was a good quality short extending ladder with an extended base for extra safety. TIP: Cut a square of old carpet and cut two holes in it to fit over the top of the ladder. It keeps the metal ladder off the motorhome body.

I cleaned the roof from a ladder, it was a good quality short extending ladder with an extended base for extra safety. TIP: Cut a square of old carpet and cut two holes in it to fit over the top of the ladder. It keeps the metal ladder off the motorhome body.

It helps to stop it sliding sideways too.

Steve 'Marchie' did a demo of this Leifheit mop system on my Motorhome. I had to say I had to let him do half the van until I decided I was converted

I'd recommend it - it is a versatile system and works well especially around the big overcab lump which is always a pain to access.

Leifheit Window Washing with extending pole. The more expensive version has both a squeegee and a velcro attached cleaning pad and works a treat
