Just had mot in Lockerbie £45
7.5 ton Concorde charisma so why was I charged £58 in Portsmouth just 10 months ago ?
Passed flying colours just one advisory but couldn’t write it on mot ticket as it doesn’t allow indicator bulb loosing its colour, his advise get it done before next mot,
Houston’s coaches mot all motorhomes

I stand to be corrected but I think that garages can charge 'what the market will stand' although there may be an upper price limit. Some offer freeby MOT's as Halfords did recently no doubt in the hope of copping the repairs work or at least goodwill. Either way it's fair to say that the hourly rate for a test is cheap compared with usual rates for repairs....

I had my motorhome mot’d last week at Stella Motors in Dove Holes just outside Buxton for £28. That is a class 4 (4 tonne) MOT. I know it not worth anyone travelling miles but posting to show what it is where I am
