They were not there yesterday afternoon, but this morning they were. Was expecting Snowdrops very soon, but Daffodils?

I think here in Carlisle we are protected from the worst of the weather by the mountains of the Lake District and the way the Solway is mapped out, Mind you last night we felt the storm as it tried to suck the windows out, and was chucking the bins and debris all over the place.

It's the same in Yorkshire the Pennines give us a certain amount of protection.

Nature is fine and knows exactly what it is doing. It is humans who think they can change things to suit them who are out of sync.
