Motorhome info wanted

Hi. We have a 2016 Elddis Riva Gold GT 175 which is part of the Autoquest range. Its a 2 berth-either twin longitudinal single beds or a combined double. Peugeot boxer base vehicle-Elddis build,If you google it you will see the full range of models. Ours came with dealer fitted extras i.e. rear camera, solar panel, cycles rack and awning. The only things I have added were a Stirling battery maintainer so that engine battery as well as the leisure one get charged as before that, the only one that was getting charged was the leisure one. As it has an electric Thule step fitted just behind the rear nearside wheel, mud, water, etc. were being flung onto it during winter weather driving so to prevent it seizing up, I fitted a mudflap without any drilling whatsoever, securing it to the chassis and body using strong zip ties. Works a treat, no muck, no mess, clean step that works. I also fitted a set of Peugeot front mudflaps, again. no drilling.
The photo above was taken before I did the extra bits. Ask away if you want any further details. We are entirely happy with our EVA.

You're welcome. Incidentally, the only other work we've had done is a conversion to refillable propane gas bottles. Done for us by Avon Autogas, Bristol. A fantastic addition at a great price. 1 x 11kg and 1 x 7kg bottles, all pipework, gauges and filler connection all mounted and tested. £310 - beat that! Last fill up cost me £14,56 from nearly empty at 52p a litre. We would have had 2 x 11kg ones if they had fitted in the locker but alas, no.
Just seen the photo of the one you're looking at. Looks in generally good condition. I don't know much about the older versions though-other members may have knowledge. All I can say is that the model you are looking at was made before they started their SoLiD construction method, which are on models made in and after 2012.
Google searches, maybe reviews and Elddis owners site may be of help to you as well. Good luck!

Whatever motorhome you look at do not let your heart rule your head. Damp is a major problem and you need to go all over with a damp meter. Although it can be cured it can be expensive. If possible get somebody who can check all these for you. Enjoy

We had a 2002 Autoquest as our first van and loved it.
As said above check for damp especially in the overhead bed space by all acounts ours had a small amount when we sold it to the dealer ?
The only other problem was the bottom fell out of the gas locker, I would reinforce it if you decide to buy it.

Well decided not to go for that one as the seats won’t be long enough for two single beds as I saw on another site that it was a SWB! Ooh well we’ll keep looking and thanks for all your responses. shortcircuit we have a damp meter and we take it with us,the one we saw at Preston you didn’t need a damp meter!
