This all began about 3 months ago, I attended a fishing comp on the beach which i have done for the last 6 years all the money they get go,s to a children,s home. When i got to the beach the carpark was nearly full there was a sign saying no motorhomes or carvans over night this was a 6.30 am when the comp finished and got back to my van at about 12,45 pm they was a ticket on the van a fine for parking, stright away i sent in an appeal, My friends wife speaks very good English and offered to come and translate for me. When we got to the cort it looked like i was up for murder not a paking fine, the lawer for the police handed the juge a photo and copy of the fine. The juge ask if this was my motorhome I said no its my van but it is not a motorhome and gave the juge a form i had from the ITV your MOT garage saying i cant change the paper work because it dose not meet the requirements needed to do this, i never wanted to change this in the first place because or the laws they a bringing in now, I also had with me the signing in form showing i signed in at 6.45 am. The juge dismissed the case. Then he apologized for the inconvenience and ask me in perfect English if i had exenses in coming here today i said no only parking and fuel and payment for a translator he then awarded me 150 euros and we spent that on a lovely lunch
