Every family should have them, what's nicer than the door opening and they come rushing in shouting Grandad and give you a big hug and a kiss, and ours range from 21 to 32, but then maybe I'm just a big daft softy.

I know how you feel my daughter fell out with me and we didn’t talk for 10/11 years missed her getting married missed the births of my granddaughter and grandson if we ever saw each other at family gatherings it was queer we would exchange pleasantries like...strangers but for the past two years were back together as if nothing has happened...and grandkids straight away called us nana and grandad and all because I spoke the truth.. so GreggBear there’s a bit of hope for a reconciliation with your daughter....
