Mystery wire

I noticed this disconnected wire behind the drivers seat. I can't see anything obvious on the AS wiring schematic and it doesn't look Peugeot.
I don't want to just reconnect without knowing what it is... might be ejector seat! As I am away from home atm.
The handbrake warning light on the dash works fine.
Any ideas?

do you get the seatbelt buzzer coming on?

No I don't think so... I'm deaf, but my wife doesn't remember hearing one when we drove across the campsite this morning...
I (she) will listen tomorrow...
Thanks

Do you have a retracting electric step on the habitation door. It could be the buzzer to warn you its still out before you drive off.
.... Tom ....

Yes and "I" have not heard a buzzer for that either...
Will check
Thanks
K ;)

No buzzing going on this morning so there's a possibility to check when I get home.

Thanks
K ;)

Seat belt buzzer came on after a short distance ( length of campsite) so it's not that.

The step retracts as soon as the ignition is turned on so not likely to hear a warning unless the warning is to alert me to the step not retracting... but why would someone disconnect that?

No its got to be something else
K 🤔

It could be the step warning buzzer, could have got caught when something was dragged out from where the wires are.

On mine, there used to be a buzzer and a little light to tell you that the step was out when the ignition was on.
However there was no way to retract the step from the driver's seat, which was a pain, so I added a relay to automatically retract the step.
For a few days, there was a short buzz and a flash of light when I turned the ignition on. Then I removed the irritating buzzer.
A few years later, the little light was accidentally disconnected in one of the "inside the dash" modifications.
So now my motorhome is in the same state as yours.
So that's how mine came to be like that. Yours may or may not have followed the same path.
