Neat idea

Mine stops the seat from moving at all, locked rear wards facing . The other one looks like it may still swivel a bit.

In the opening post you can see that the particular lock used goes over the bar to the front of the seat box. Other, shorter locks may not have the reach. Mine doesn't (its a lot cheaper) so I had to put a bend in the bar. You could try for the same effect using an ordinary padlock fed through the same hole which is what I did; it's just a bit more fiddly to fit each time.

Surely if the drivers seat is locked in the rearmost position then the thief has only to sit on the front edge of the seat in order to drive? Or am I missing something?

It maybe true that the seat could be swivelled 90 degrees perhaps.

Mine, however, is locked immobile and impossible to access the controls.

Drill a hole through the turntable with the seat facing the rear and fit a pad lock job done I’ve done many things to deter but at the end of the day if they get through all I’ve done they’re welcome to it I wouldn’t want it back cause to remove it all it’s gonna be in a right mess
