This event has expired and has no upcoming dates
Once again we have arranged a meet in the New Forest. The site is Strawberry Fields, the entrance is by the big sign advertising the Sunday car boot sale.

This is in a field, water and toilets/toilet emptying. Pub in walking distance, and a vineyard. Fees are £7 per unit per night, same as last year -excellent value for school holidays in the New Forest. There will be a fire for socialising around unless we have a super hot summer again, in which case it's not feasible. Fires only in fire pits and BBQs must be off the ground, the New Forest is very vulnerable.
There is a security gate which has to be locked at night, arrivals strictly 9am - 6pm (11am on first day) unless by prior arrangement. It would be helpful when you book if you could indicate how many nights you plan to stay and which day you plan to arrive. Fees in cash on arrival, exact money if possible please!
There is an hourly bus to Brockenhurst/Southampton and Lymington which stops at the gate.
For those who fancy venturing to foreign parts, the Isle of Wight Ferry is just under 4 miles away where there is parking for motorhomes in their overflow car park and we have the timetable and fare information. There is a very big car boot sale on site on the SUNDAY morning.

THERE’S A HUGE VERY POPULAR STREET MARKET IN LYMINGTON ON SATURDAYS. http://www.lymingtonmarket.co.uk/

SATURDAY morning, 9am, there is a PARKRUN in Lymington, I will go, weather permitting, and have car space for 4 more. Let me know by Friday evening if you are interested.

Back again this year by popular demand will be the SUNDAY CAR BOOT CHALLENGE!

The meet is the last weekend of July/beginning of August (30/7-4/8). The name of the pub is The Filly Inn. Yes you may bring a small tow car, last year the tow cars were parked at the entrance to the field as your pitch is 8mx10m it is less squashed. If you are thinking of overnighting at the pub we are not admitting until 11am on the first day, the other days it is 9am. Let us know if you wish to join us - there is still space!

Hi moonshadow, we’re at Ladram Bay until the 26 July, would it be possible to make our way to the field on the 26th and pay the extra, it would save coming all the way home to Essex just to return to the forest a few days later ?, OH, btw, our motorhome is 7mtrs long, no trailer or tow car, if so can you book us in please

Hi, we don’t go there to set up until morning of 30th, it would also contravene the New Forest regs that the landlord must abide by. There must be some places on the POIs to stop at between Ladram Bay and the New Forest? The Filly Inn up the road will let you overnight as long as you have a drink/meal but I think you should just check by phoning them first. Let us know what you decide to do. 7m not a problem slots will be 10m deep x 8m wide

There are CCC Temporary Holiday Sites in the area that you could stay on for one or more nights. Ballard School in New Milton is exceptionally good.

These are great natural forest spots with ponies mingling. We stayed at one near lyndhurst and would certainly return.
