Cataract surgery planned but put on hold because od a lesion on my left upper cheek !
Suspected skin cancer but excised today at Heatherwood hospital (Ascot)
Excellent treatment and no skin graft needed.

Next Wednesday..1st cataract op at Watford.
We will camp up on a friends drive nearby for a few days.

A repeat cataract on the 2nd eye needed in maybe 1 month.
Thailand likely to be fully open in December with no quarantine but PCR tests in UK and again in Thailand.
A fraught time following our leaks in the motorhome.

Anyway a cheap campsite with Ehu for now and then again

I had a season-ticket to Heatherwood as a youngster (bit accident-prone! if it were nowadays, my mother would be questioned for child abuse the amount of times I went there :) ) . Fast work and good news on the prognosis & diagnosis there (y)

Ref the leaks ... still waiting for the work to be carried out or been worked on already?
Does Nida drive, or are you static after the eye operation for a set period?

We camp up on a fellow motorhomer's drive for maybe 5 days.
All services available including Tv.
We cook for them most nights and eat in the house !

We are regular users of the NHS as my wife has MS plus a couple of other medical problems too. We find them to be excellent: the people, the speed of appointments; our local Dr. The local mental health team have been superb as well.

Can't fault them: worth their weight in gold.

Think we need to move our son to a different area! Mental health care in Kent has improved a tiny bit but still very disappointing.
Glad you are getting it all sorted @jagmanx ......sounds like a great parkup!
