Has anyone got routes...tips...campsites for N. France ....WW2 stuff etc.
 
Hello, we often camp at Chateau de Gandspette, near Eperlecque. It is not too far from Calais. Within about 20 minutes walk is the Blockhaus d’Eperlecque, from where there were plans to launch the V2 rocket. We have visited this 3 times, and it still has the power to shock and sadden. Another WW2 site not far from Chateau de Gandspette is La Coupole, which is another astounding place.
 
A few years ago Lee took his dad over to Normandy to revisit the D day landing sites. Dad found the museum in Bayeux and Avranches the most moving
